About Subscription Licenses

Our subscription licenses are either monthly or annual subscriptions that include your license, support and updates during the course of the subscription. If cancelled you will lose access to the software and customer support from the end of your current subscription term.

About Subscription Auto-Renewals

All our Subscription Licenses are set up to auto-renew either monthly or annually. If you’d rather not renew your license, you can cancel your subscription at any time in the My Products section of your Account.

License FAQ

  • Where can I find the End User License Agreement?
    You can read our End User License Agreement (EULA) at www.glassboxtech.com/eula. This is a legal contract between us, Glassbox Technologies, author of the software application, and you, the user of the application.
  • What is a node-locked license?
    Our node-locked licenses are RLM licenses that are tied to one specific computer at a time. When you purchase one of our licenses, it will get tied to the first computer on which you run it, via that computer's machine ID.
  • Can I transfer my node-locked license?
    To make sure you don’t get stuck when you change computer, you can transfer your license to up three new machine ID’s in any given year. Please request a license transfer via sales@glassboxtech.com.
  • Is there a license that I can use on multiple machines?
    For DragonFly and BeeHive, our floating licenses allow you to set up a floating license server to manage moving your license between machines and users. Floating licenses are not available for Live Client.
  • What is a floating license?
    Floating licensing is a software licensing approach in which a limited number of licenses for a software application are shared among a larger number of users over time by allowing members of a team to check in and out licenses.
  • What is a perpetual license?
    Our perpetual licenses allow you to purchase the license upfront via a one off fee, and give you the right to use the latest version of the software that you purchased indefinitely. Our perpetual licenses include an annual maintenance subscription that gives you access to customer support and product updates during the course of the subscription.
  • What is a maintenance subscription?
    Our maintenance subscriptions are included with perpetual licenses to ensure you have access to customer support and product updates. Maintenance subscriptions can be cancelled at any time after the first year.
  • How do I cancel my subscription?
    All subscriptions renew automatically, billed either monthly or annual. If you don’t wish to renew your subscription you can cancel at any time in the My Products section of Your account on our website.
  • If I cancel my subscription can I reactivate it?
    If you cancel your subscription you will need to purchase a new subscription to gain access to software, updates and support again.
  • Do you offer discounts for education and students?
