Your license comes with updates and support while it’s current. Once it has expired, you won’t be able to use our tools unless you choose to renew or buy a new license.
About Auto-Renewals
All our licenses are set up to auto-renew as standard to help you stay up to date with new product versions and support. If you’d rather not auto-renew your license, you can cancel your auto-renewal in the My Products section of your Account.

Where can I find the End User License Agreement (EULA)?
You can read our End User License Agreement at www.glassboxtech.com/eula. This is a legal contract between us, Glassbox Technologies (legal entity Opaque Productions Inc.), author of the software application, and you, the user of the application.

How long does my For a While license last for?
When you purchase a For a While license you are purchasing 12 months of usage of our software. For a While Licenses give you access to product updates and support during the period of the license. However, if you don’t renew or buy another license type, you won’t be able to access the software at all after the expiry of your For a While license.

My license came with auto-renewal for product updates and support, what happens if I don’t want to renew my license?
At purchase our licenses have auto-renewal turned on automatically, to make sure your access to new versions and updates doesn’t accidentally run out. If you don’t wish to renew you can cancel your auto-renewal in the My Products section of your account here: http://glassboxtech.com/account

Do I need to renew my license to receive fixes?
For the first year access to product updates and support are included with your purchase. But if you choose not to renew, your access to updates and support will run out.

If I cancelled my renewal, but want to access new versions and support can I purchase a new renewal?
If you cancelled your renewal, but want to get back up to date with new product versions and support contact us on sales@glassboxtech.com for a quote.

Can I use my license on both my workstation and laptop?
Yes, do this please purchase a floating license and set up a floating license server to manage moving your license between machines.

What if I have a node-locked license and want change computers, can I transfer my license?
To make sure you don’t get stuck when you change computer, you can transfer your license to up two new machine ID’s in any given year. Please request a license transfer via sales@glassboxtech.com

What is a node-locked, individual license?
Our node-locked, individual licenses are RLM licenses that are tied to one specific computer at a time. When you purchase one of our licenses, it will get tied to the first computer on which you run it, via that computer's machine ID.

Floating licensing is a software licensing approach in which a limited number of licenses for a software application are shared among a larger number of users over time by allowing members of a team to check in and out licenses.
